Today, Andrew Rosindell M.P. attended the 'Animal Matters' reception in the Houses of Parliament, jointly organised by Humane Society International, the RSPCA, Compassion in World Farming, and Animal Welfare Worldwide.
It gave Andrew the opportunity to meet with campaigners lobbying to ensure that all animals enjoy a high quality life and that farming in the UK is ethical.
Andrew had the following to say on X, formerly Twitter:
It was a pleasure to attend the "Animal Matters" Reception in Parliament yesterday and learn about the incredible efforts of Humane Society International, the RSPCA, Compassion in World Farming, and Animal Welfare Worldwide. Their dedication to ensuring that animals are treated compassionately and ethically could not be more welcome. As the former Shadow Home Office Minister for Animal Welfare, this cause remains deeply important to me and I will continue to campaign tirelessly on for better animal welfare in the UK.
