This evening, Andrew attended the 56th Annual Ceremony of Christmas Cheese at the Royal Hospital in Chelsea to honour British war veterans at Christmas.
The ceremony, hosted by the Dairy Council, is based on a 300 year old tradition of local cheese makers donating produce to the Royal Hospital to nourish war veterans over the festive season. This year, 64 different cheeses were donated by 27 different cheesemakers from around the UK.
Following the event, Andrew commented:
'It is not often that you get to honour Britain's brave war veterans whilst sampling fantastic food, but it is a great opportunity to celebrate the festivities alongside those who have fought to defend the very system which allows me to represent the people of Romford.'
