During a shocking performance from the Foreign Secretary, The Rt Hon. David Lammy M.P., who, for over an hour, refused to answer a single question regarding the rights of the Chagossian people to self-determination, Andrew Rosindell MP, having brought Chagossians into the Houses of Parliament to watch the proceedings live, put the Foreign Secretary on the spot.
Many of Andrew's colleagues raised serious questions on the national security risk of the Government's plans as well as the cost to the British taxpayer to lease a territory which has been ours since the 1814 Treaty of Paris.
Andrew has been vocal on this issue, speaking to Chagossians and arguing for their right to self-determination, which has been ignored by the Government.
