On Monday 21st March 2022, Romford M.P. Andrew Rosindell wrote to the Minister for Brexit Opportunities The Rt. Hon. Jacob Rees-Mogg M.P. regarding duty-free for arrivals in the United Kingdom, saying it would be of significant benefit to the British economy.
The U.K. changed rules to allow consumers to bring back a higher allowance of duty-free products when travelling back to the U.K. from the E.U., this was changed because of Brexit. This has been a hugely popular move so far but duty-free can only be bought in airports outside of the U.K., I am therefore asking the Minister to allow us to permit duty-free purchases on inbound arrivals at U.K. airports.
