M.P. for Romford Andrew Rosindell has called on eligible residents in his constituency of Romford to get their booster jab when it’s made available to them, calling it “safe and effective.”
Everybody in the United Kingdom over the age of fifty, or over the age of sixteen if they are clinically vulnerable, is being offered a third dose of the coronavirus vaccine once it has been at least six months after they had their second dose.
Mr Rosindell also made clear his opposition to COVID-19 restrictions, saying they only “harm the economy.”
Andrew Rosindell M.P. said:
“For over a year, this country was in and out of a series of disastrous lockdowns which failed to do any more than delay the virus until we unlocked and it was able to spread again.
The vaccine was the game-changer, providing a genuine long-term solution which saved lives and allowed the full re-opening of our economy.
With research showing that a booster dose can provide 95% protection from the virus, it is clear that it is a safe and effective way of adding that further layer of protection.
In contrast, restrictions and lockdown only harm the economy, with little in the way of long term public health benefits.”
