Marking the end of a tiring and intense campaign across Romford and Hornchurch, in the early hours of this morning, Andrew Rosindell was declared the Member of Parliament for Romford - marking his seventh consecutive election victory!
This is a very proud moment for me to be elected the Member of Parliament for Romford for the seventh time. I am very proud to be the MP for Romford as I am from Romford.
It was a tough battle and certainly one which Andrew admits was his toughest, but now re-elected, Andrew Rosindell wants to get on with the job to keep both Sadiq Khan and Keir Starmer to account!
My heartfelt thanks to all those who voted to re-elect me on Thursday to continue as Member of Parliament for Romford. It is the greatest honour of my life to be elected as the MP for my home town, for the seventh time since 2001. A tough election, but a great result! A huge thank you also to my Election winning Campaign Team and supporters who worked round the clock to help me win. Once again, Romford bucked the trend! The BBC Exit Poll said Romford would be a Labour 'gain'. They were wrong! Thank you Romford!
