Andrew Rosindell, Member of Parliament for Romford, for the second time during the reign of our current monarch, swore an oath of allegiance to His Majesty King Charles III, affirming his loyalty to our Sovereign and our country.
This commences the moment when Andrew is legally entitled to sit in the House of Commons as an elected Member of Parliament. It signifies the intent of a Member of Parliament to uphold the constitution of our nation, with His Majesty as the embodiment of it and in whose name Parliament sits.
I swear by Almighty God that I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to His Majesty King Charles, his Heirs and Successors, according to law. So help me God.
