Today, Andrew had the pleasure of visiting Frances Bardsley Academy for Girls in Romford, alongside the Honourable Deputy Premier of Montserrat, Delmaude Ryan.
With strong ties to all of our overseas territories, Andrew used this opportunity to show the Deputy Premier the great work that is being done across Romford to educate and inspire young people to achieve great things. With 72 per cent of its students achieving at least five A* - C grades at GCSE level, Frances Bardsley is a great example of quality education being delivered in Romford.
Following the visit, Andrew commented:
'It is important not to forget the responsibility this Government has not only to school pupils across the UK but also in all of its overseas territories. If we put everything we have into preparing our young people for the world of work, there is nothing they cannot do.'
