Earlier today, Andrew attended Holy Mass at St. Edward's Catholic Church in Romford.
It was a wonderful opportunity to see old friends, meet many new people, and of course, to support the fantastic work of Fr. Dominic Howarth.
Catholicism is a faith which runs deep in our nation's history, having been present on these islands for nearly 2,000 years, and its community is as strong as ever.
A lovely Sunday morning yesterday visiting the Catholic Church of St. Edward The Confessor, Romford, meeting so many friends I have known over the years. Such an uplifting service led by our parish priest, Fr. Dominic Howarth. Delighted to see the splendid new Church Hall!
