Andrew Rosindell today attended the annual Cottons Park Fun Day, organised by the Friends of Cottons Park.
In addition to an annual Christmas Fair, the Fun Day is organised every year by the Friends of Cottons Park, to encourage residents to make greater use of the Park.
Attractions on the day included live music from a 25-piece band and various singers, fairground rides, a display of vintage cars, face painting, a bouncy castle, and various animals - both native and exotic.
The Fun Day was not only packed out with attractions of all kinds, but was also an opportunity for local residents to meet with representatives from local government. In attendance in addition to Andrew were Mayor and Mayoress Brian and Bunny Eagling, Brooklands Ward Councillors, Viddy Persaud and Robert Benham, and representatives from the local Brooklands Police Team.
Following the event, Andrew said:
"Its been great to come to the Cottons Park Fun Day today. Ian Selby [Friends of Cottons Park Chairman] does a fantastic job making Cottons Park a popular destination for local people, right in the heart of Romford, and its great to see so many local people here today."
