Today, Andrew Rosindell M.P., attended the End Frozen Pensions campaign drop-in in Parliament - an issue Andrew has long been campaigning for.
For many years, pensions for British expats in some parts of the world have not been uprated with inflation, and therefore pensioners in these countries are not being given the money they have spent their life working for.
It doesn't matter where we live, Britons should receive the money they have earned.
Andrew was able to sign a petition calling on the Prime Minister to meet with Second World War veteran, Ann Puckridge, who has been affected by this.
The End Frozen Pensions campaign stated the following:
Thanks to @AndrewRosindell for attending and signing a declaration to encourage the Prime Minister to meet with WW2 veteran Anne Puckridge in December. Your support for the End Frozen Pensions Campaign is much appreciated!
Before the dissolution of Parliament, Andrew was a member of the End Frozen Pensions APPG and wrote to the Prime Minister last year calling on him to end this unfair treatment of Britons abroad. The letter can be read here.
