As the Member of Parliament for Romford, Andrew Rosindell M.P. laid a wreath and attended the accompanying remembrance march at the Coronation Gardens on Sunday. He was accompanied by the Mayor of Havering, Cllr. Trevor McKeever, and the Leader of the Council, Cllr. Ray Morgon.
Remembrance Sunday is a day to reflect on the sacrifices made by those who came before us, and to consider the liberties and freedoms that we enjoy as a consequence: "When you go home, tell them of us and say, for their tomorrow we gave our today"
Remarking on the day's significance, Andrew said:
"[I was] deeply honoured to be laying a wreath for the twenty second time as the Member of Parliament for Romford at the cenotaph in the Coronation Gardens, on behalf of all the people of my constituency."
