Keeping Romford and Britain Safe!
"2024 is a pivotal year for Britain and Romford. The General and London Mayoral Elections will shape the UK and Havering for many years to come. For Romford, the choice is stark. Local people can either keep an MP who is from Romford and loves Romford and who truly believes that Britain is the greatest nation on Earth, or they can hand Romford and Britain over to a left-wing, woke obsessed, socialist party. One that constantly talks Britain down and would shrink Britain’s standing in the world to the point of international irrelevance. With Labour already jointly running our Town Hall and a Labour Mayor bossing us around from ‘City Hall’, a Labour MP would pretty much give total power over Romford to Khan and Starmer. Is that really what Romford people want?
It will be a terrible day for Havering if the Labour Mayor of London continues in office after his disastrous rule. As shown at the anti-ULEZ demonstration I attended at Roneo Corner, Khan’s catastrophic policies are utterly detested in our borough. We simply cannot permit this man four more years of doing so much harm.
In these uncertain times, Britain needs strong leadership. The world faces complex challenges, from economic uncertainties to terrorism and conflicts, along with mass immigration heading through Europe to our own shores. I grew up in the 1980s when Britain was led by a leader who truly defend Britain’s interests at home and abroad and was never afraid to stand up for our country. Margaret Thatcher knew that socialism would be to the determent of Britain and she was right. The British people rejected left-wing ideology then and in 2024, we must do so again. Labour would quietly reverse BREXIT and take us back into the European Union. Their policies would derail the UK’s economic recovery, with no hope of controlling immigration, whilst undermining our cherished British culture, traditions and way of life. If Labour seizes power, it is bad news for us all!
This summer, as we celebrate the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings, it is a poignant moment in our history to remind ourselves of the sacrifices made by previous generations to secure freedom and prosperity for all British people. So, whoever we chose to vote for, it is our duty to honour their legacy by participating in the democratic process, ensuring the leaders we elect are committed to upholding the values that define our nation. Britain deserves MPs who will stand tall, defend our towns and communities and prioritise the safety and security our great island nation!"
