Making Romford 'woke' free
"In these unprecedented times that have unfolded since the onset of the pandemic, I fear that British society has experienced a profound and dangerous shift. It is hard to believe some of things that are happening today. Our understanding of womanhood and gender has been redefined; we find ourselves grappling with a sense of guilt for the transgressions of our distant ancestors; and the ability to take pride in the traditions of our homeland is no longer granted unconditionally. As we navigate through these shifts, it is important that we remain vigilant and stand ready and fight back to safeguard our way of life.
The 'woke' agenda has made its way into so many of our national institutions, businesses, the Church, our media and universities. I believe it is time to address this, which is why I am launching the Romford 'Woke Watch' initiative - a platform designed for local peopleto voice their concerns and combat this growing self-loathing by an elite minority.
This project will give local people an opportunity to share their concerns and opinions when they see an example of wokism within our community. If you have noticed instances of the 'woke' agenda in public places, tell me about it. It could be something visual, it might be rules set by institutions on matters such as race, gender, politics, or any form of communication which espouses woke sentiments. Your stories will help me understand how these ideas are becoming a part of our daily lives and give me the chance to challenge this divisive ideology head on! By coming together, we can get a clear picture of what is happening, challenge it and help to make Romford a ‘woke-free zone’!
Launching the 'Woke Watch' here in Romford, means that local residents will be empowered to speak out and get something done to stop the woke agenda in its tracks. We don’t have to accept this nonsense anymore and as your M.P., I will always be on your side in this fight. It will show that the people of this area are not just letting detrimental changes happen without a fight; we will be taking action to stop it! Through this initiative, Romford will lead the way in pushing back to restore British common sense.
Join me in opposing those who seek to divide our local community, by defending our great British values and traditions that make us who we are. Together, we can make sure Romford remains a place of unity, with free thinking people who love their country and take pride in their history. The time to make a stand is now!"
