Last night, Andrew Rosindell M.P. hosted a St. David's Day fundraiser at the Romford Golf Club, to celebrate everything great about our Union, specifically the wonderful Principality of Wales.
Andrew was pleased to welcome Susan Hall A.M., our next Mayor of London and the only person who can topple Sadiq Khan - a change the people of Romford are rightly demanding!
It was a pleasure for Andrew to speak in front of many of his supporters and friends about the priorities of Romford, Havering, and Britain, and led a rallying cry ahead of a busy year in Westminster.
Reporting back following this evening of cheer, Andrew stated the following on X, formerly Twitter:
A magnificent St. David’s Day event in Romford with our splendid candidate to be the next Mayor of London, Susan Hall @Councillosuzie who everyone is rallying behind in Havering! A happy occasion to celebrate with our Welsh friends and the unity of our great United Kingdom! Also delighted to welcome Father David Simpson of the Church of St. Edward the Confessor, Romford Market, who proposed the toast to HRH The Prince of Wales and Father Roderick Hingley of the Church of St. Alban Protomartyr, who said grace and blessed the roast lamb of Wales!
So happy to welcome my wonderful friends Christine and Neil Hamilton to Romford for St. David’s Day as my personal guests and celebrate four decades of friendship with a splendid dinner @Romfordgolfclub of Leek and Potato Soup, Welsh Lamb, Welsh Cakes and daffodils galore!
