Andrew Rosindell's free, exclusive tours of Parliament are now running again after a hiatus caused by the coronavirus pandemic. If you are a constituent of Andrew's please sign up for what will be a fascinating time exploring the Mother of Parliaments!
About the tour:
Andrew's tour is full of fascinating information regarding the history of the buildings, how Parliament works, and what it’s like to work there day-to-day. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions about any topic, face-to-face with Andrew.
The UK Parliament is the oldest Parliament in the world, and its first ever meeting was convened on the current Westminster site in 1265. The buildings you see today, however, were completed in 1870, following a fire which destroyed much of the old Palace complex. These 'new' buildings (especially the interiors) are some of the most fantastic in the world, and on Andrew's tour, you will be able to view, (among other rooms), Westminster Hall, the Lords' Chamber, the Commons' Chamber, and the Queen's Robing Room.
In his 21 years as an M.P., Andrew has shown over 22,000 people from Romford around the Houses of Parliament.
We look forward to receiving your request and welcoming you to the Palace
