Earlier today, Andrew Rosindell M.P. paid a visit to the Falkland Islands Government parliamentary drop-in session to discuss a number of issues with the Falkland Islands's Representative in London, Richard Hyslop.
Andrew stressed the importance of ensuring that any decision regarding the Falklands's future must be a matter for the people of the Falkland Islands, especially in light of the Government's decision to hand over the Chagos Islands to Mauritius without consulting the people which were removed there in the 1960s.
The Falkland Islands's Government stated the following:
Many thanks to long-standing friend and supporter of the Falklands @AndrewRosindell for attending our Parliamentary drop-in today. Thank you for your continued support for Falkland Islanders' right to determine their own future.
