Andrew Rosindell M.P. has received a response from the Rt Hon. James Cartildge M.P., Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury, following his letter to the Rt Hon. Jeremy Hunt, on fiscal funding for hospices across the United Kingdom.
In the letter, the Government reaffirmed their intention to support hospices with their energy bills through means such as the Energy Bill Relief Scheme, the Energy Bills Discount Scheme, and other fiscal instruments utilised to minimise the effects of inflation.
However, Mr Rosindell M.P. has assured those within local hospices in Romford that he will be maintaining a close watch on the Government's expenditure and will be assessing whether money is going to the right places through just and sufficient fiscal allocations.
