Today, Andrew Rosindell M.P. was joined by the Mayor of Havering, Brian Eagling, at the Havering Association for People with Disablities (HAD)’s Annual Garden Party
The HAD is a charity that works across the borough assisting people with disabilities to live full and active lives.
At the party, Mr Rosindell and Mr Eagling were greeted by Maureen Salter, the Interim Manager, who works tirelessly to ensure that disabled people across Havering have access to training and classes in disciplines such as computing, fitness, art, and photography.
The Party was a great success, with guests enjoying a wide variety of refreshments, as well as a barbeque.
Mr Rosindell was even presented with a framed picture of himself with Grant Rose, a constituent of his, who attended a tour of the Houses of Parliament earlier this year.
Following the party, Andrew praised the work of the HAD, saying:
“The HAD Annual Garden Party is always a fantastic event, and its great to be here once again. The HAD do fantastic work, and I hope they continue to go from strength to strength.”
