Andrew Rosindell M.P. was honoured to have been in attendance on Sunday 13th September 2015 at one of just a handful of services being held throughout the country to commemorate the Queen as our longest serving monarch in Britain.
Mayors, council representatives, youth groups, uniformed organisation and local residents gathered at St Edward The Confessor Church in Romford to honour this unique event in a nations life.
The service consisted of a combination of extracts from the Queen’s coronation and her Silver, Golden and Diamond Jubilee Services. The Sermon and procession was led by Rt. Revd. Norman Banks, Bishop of Richborough who was a former Chaplain to Her Majesty the Queen.
Andrew was delighted to have been given the opportunity read the same lesson, Romans 12. 1-18 which was read by the Prime Minister at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in St Paul’s Cathedral.
Following the service, guests were treated to a wine reception and buffet at the Wykhem Hall in Romford.
