The Prime Minister’s statement on Sunday, followed up on Monday by more detailed guidance, gave the country a real sense of the way forward. It is so important that now more than ever, we all follow the Government guidance. If we want to beat this virus we must keep going.
I know that some felt that there was confusion within the statement, however I want to reassure people in Romford that social distancing is still in place and therefore, we all should be staying and working at home if we can. If anyone needs advice on this or any other issue, then I urge them to get in contact with me by e-mailing [email protected] – My team and I are always happy to help.
As the Prime Minister said in response to me in the House of Commons on Monday, “The spirit of Romford will certainly be actuating our approach.” The spirit of Romford is one of hard work, common sense and community and I am glad that the Government will be emanating that spirit in their work as the people of Romford do every day.
Once again I ask people to stay alert and if possible stay at home. This is important so that we can control the virus and protect the NHS, by doing all of this we will save lives!
Thank you and god bless you all.
Andrew Rosindell M.P.
Member of Parliament for Romford
