Andrew Rosindell M.P. has become a member of the Conservative Environment Network's (CEN) Parliamentary Caucus to champion action on decarbonisation and conservation in Westminster.
The Caucus works together to drive the green agenda in Westminster, underpinned by a set of principles that include action on climate change, enhancing the natural environment, preserving species and oceans, and tackling air pollution. Romford's M.P. will work with other Conservative backbench MPs to nudge Government policy in a greener direction.
Andrew has long campaigned on environmental issues, including preserving and protecting the green belt in the north of his constituency and cleaning up parks and nature reserves such as the Chase Nature Reserve.

"My constituents in Romford understand as well as anybody the importance of the environment, particularly access to green spaces. We are in a rare position in Romford to benefit both from a thriving urban town and from the verdant, bucolic green spaces in the north of the constituency, on top of the wonderful parks in the town itself.
I'm delighted to have joined the Conservative Environment Network's Parliamentary Caucus where I will play whatever role I can to push forward bold but sensible policies to preserve our wonderful environment for future generations."
