Andrew Rosindell M.P. has welcomed the news that Premiere Cinema in Romford is to receive £116,596 from the Department of Digital, Culture, Media & Sport as part of the Government's Culture Recovery Fund.
The cinema, which is in Andrew's constituency, has received funding through this project in the past and in total has received £369,268 in Government funding.
The Culture Recovery Fund was established to help cultural organisations and heritage sites weather the pandemic, at a time when they were forced to close their doors to visitors and audiences.
Andrew Rosindell M.P. said:
"I'm pleased to see the Premiere Cinema in Romford receive further funding from the Department of Digital, Culture, Media & Sport. I am confident this will provide this excellent cinema with financial stability as it welcomes customers back and returns to its pre-pandemic state. It is vital that we keep the economy fully open over the coming months to ensure this progress is not wasted."
