I was honoured to attend the A.N.Z.A.C. Day service to remember our Commonwealth cousins from Australia and New Zealand who died fighting for King and Country in the Frist World War and in all subsequent battles where freedom has needed to be defended.
As Chairman of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Australia and New Zealand, it was a great privilege to be present at the Cenotaph to watch the parade along Whitehall in which Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for commemorations.
The following service in Westminster Abbey was very fitting and a timely tribute to all of the fallen soldiers who gave their lives for our freedom.
