Last week, continuing on with his M.P.'s Street Calls, Andrew spent time in both Collier Row and Gidea Park over various days during the course of the week, paying visits to residents in the area and to discuss local concerns.
On Monday and Sunday, Andrew was out with Cllr. Carol Smith in the Lawns Park part of Collier Row within Mawneys Ward, saying the following on social media:
Out and about in Lawns Park area, Collier Row, visiting local people and taking a letter and information card to all homes. Always good to hear views on a variety of issues from local residents and great to have the hard working Cllr. Carol Smith with me in Mawneys Ward!
Then, on Saturday, Andrew was once again in Gidea Park where locals were notably vocal regarding their disdain for Labour's Sadiq Khan.
Out and about in Gidea Park, visiting local people and taking a personal letter and card to homes throughout the area. Lots of different issues raised on the door step from the state of Romford town centre, opposition to high rise flats, Queens Hospital and immigration! Also, dismay over the Mayor of London and his policies that are so detrimental to Havering. As always, Romford people have got it right, raising legitimate concerns. I agree with them! A drink at The Ship in Main Road, Gidea Park… a great way to end the day!
Keep an eye out for Andrew over the coming weeks and months as he is sure to visit!
