Andrew Rosindell M.P. has signed a letter to the Chancellor of the Exchequer, The Rt Hon. Jeremy Hunt M.P., calling for Special Education, Needs, and Disabilities (SEND) funding, to be increased at next weeks budget.
70 Conservative backbenchers have signed the letter and The Sun has covered the matter, which can be read here.
On the issue, Andrew has stated the following:
Families in Romford with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities are struggling. Funding and logistical provision needs drastic reform so that individuals are not wrongly disadvantaged! I was therefore pleased to join colleagues in writing to the Chancellor demanding that this is made a priority. I will continue to stand up for all the people of Romford locally and nationally!
