Andrew's rounds on his M.P.'s street calls this week saw him paying visits to Rise Park and Chase Cross on Friday and then Collier Row to the boundary with Redbridge.
Many issues were raised such as the problem of high-speed traffic on residential roads, high rise infrastructure, and the usual complaints about City Hall and Mayor Khan!
A glorious St. David’s Day on Friday, visiting Rise Park and Chase Cross, meeting local residents and shop keepers. The Gobions Avenue area is where I served as a councillor from 1990-2002 and Rise Park is where I went to school. Romford is my home and always will be! Tweed Way Hall in Rise Park is the only place in Romford where our wonderful historic town crest is still proudly displayed. I have fought tirelessly to restore the Romford town crest to be used more widely and will continue to do so until it is rightly displayed across our town!
Andrew also spent some time with our London Assembly Member, Keith Prince A.M. Reporting back on X, formerly Twitter, Andrew stated the following:
A brilliant time visiting residents to the west of Collier Row, near the boundary with Redbridge. Meeting local people and catching up with so many old friends. All number of local and national issues raised. Huge support for @Councillorsuzie to be our next Mayor of London!
