I have long called for increased investment in local leisure facilities. As such, I warmly welcome the Government’s announcement of over £180,000 of investment in grassroots sport facilities across Romford. Grant recipients can be found across the local area. Most notable are the investments in football facilities at Harrow Lodge Primary School and swimming infrastructure at the Sapphire Leisure Centre. Thousands will soon be able to avail of much improved facilities for sport, leisure, and recreation!
