Despite Susan's unfortunate loss to Sadiq Khan today (even with Romford's support firmly behind her!), there was a positive mood at the vote count as we have seen the reelection of our wonderful assembly member, Cllr. Keith Prince A.M.!
Thank you to all the people of Romford and Havering who voted overwhelmingly to re-elect @KeithPrinceAM as our London Assembly Member who triumphed with a large majority and Susan Hall for Mayor, who won hands down in Romford against Sadiq Khan! Labour’s vote crashed in Romford again, but sadly our votes were not enough to defeat Khan across Greater London. Well done @Councillorsuzie for fighting so hard to restore sanity to City Hall. Khan back as London Mayor is catastrophic for Havering! The fight-back starts now!
